Tina and her partner where displaced from their jobs because of the pandemic. They became homeless and sent up a tent at Denny Park.

3000lbs+ trash removed from abandoned encampment tents today. We had permission from campers to do this work. Rats scattered as we collected garbage. 8 volunteers hustled to clear all of this trash in 2 hours. One 24 foot box truck full and taken to dump. #trashercise

SPD’s Community Service Officer Jagbir called today and within an hour we had Kevin off the streets, into fresh clothes, and with a hot meal at Camp United We Stand. Thank you Jagbir, Cindy, Amanda and Kevin for hustling to assist the man living rough in a make-shift home.
